This odd light anomaly was captured by CCTV in the Star Chamber on November 2nd 2013 @ 23:46:02. It was spotted by Charlotte Hughes via Ordsall Hall’s very own ghost cam.
Ordsall Hall is known for its hauntings, and the many ghost stories surround the hall. The most famous hauntings include a young girl who is said to roam the hall. Visitors have reported hearing the sound of children playing and feeling a presence in the room. The Star Chamber is said to be haunted by a former Lord of the Manor who is very keen on the ladies. Female visitors have reported feeling a presence in the room and hearing footsteps.
The White Lady is said to appear in the Great Hall or Star Chamber and is popularly believed to be Margaret Radclyffe, who died of a broken heart in 1599 following the death in Ireland of her brother. Other sightings include Cecily, a young girl, Sir John Radclyffe, and other unknown, incorporeal presences.
