Survey Design

This survey incorporates questions from several validated psychological scales, including:

  • The Revised Paranormal Belief Scale
  • The Cognitive Failures Questionnaire
  • The Big Five Inventory

By using these established measures, we aim to ensure that our data is reliable, valid, and comparable to other studies in this field.

Survey Scope

The questions in this survey will assess various dimensions relevant to paranormal experiences, such as:

  • Personality traits, including openness to experience
  • Cognitive styles and biases
  • Anomalous perceptual experiences
  • Belief systems and attitudes towards the paranormal
  • Emotional well-being and mental health
  • Demographic factors

By collecting data on these multiple dimensions, this survey will allow us to build comprehensive psychological profiles of individuals who report paranormal experiences. We will then use statistical techniques to identify patterns and correlations between these factors, aiming to better understand the interplay of variables that contribute to reports of the paranormal.

Contribution to Scientific Understanding

By participating in this survey, you are advancing the scientific understanding of a complex and often misunderstood aspect of human experience. Your honest responses are invaluable, whether or not you have had paranormal experiences. Together, we can explore human experiences that are often overlooked in mainstream research, contributing to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of paranormal phenomena.
